We have departed USA on our 471 Catana Catamaran !!!!
Simpatica anchored off Chat n Chill in Georgetown Bahamas….
We had a great shake down sail from Ft Lauderdale to Georgetown Bahamas. Jim and Roberta were aboard for the inaugural sail.
Never in my life have I ever caught a grouper while trolling, low and behold across the Bahama Banks we came up with this huge Grouper…What a huge fish, fresh sushi and ceviche.
A little Cajon seasoning and wow, what a great meal Jim whipped up.
After Jim and Roberta leaves, we have started meeting some cruisers, some new and some seasoned salts.
Tina and Pater on SV Scud have been sailing for over 25 years with their 2 boys and have completed a circumnavigation. Currently they sail a St Frances Cat. Ian and Ida on a French Cat they have recently purchased in Ft Lauderdale and they are on their way to New Zealand with their Cat. Rick and Linda on Iato, 40′ Manta and they have been out cruising for a few years on the Eastern coast of USA. Here are the girls all happy at one of our sundowner evenings.
Thanksgiving was a great success as the four boats gathered at Hamburger Beach aboard Ishka. Ida and Ian were great host for their first Thanksgiving meal. So many great cooks between the 4 boats..
Rick on Iato as he cuts the turkey….
After Thanksgiving dinner we were off to find firewood for a bon fire, Louis came back with a few stick for the big Bonfire
Anchored off Hamburger Beach
Here is Jules eating Pancakes with home made yoghurt and strawberry fruit squirt from Easiyo….
